Technical Recruiter

About the Role

Optomi, part of the Optomi Professional Services family of brands, has launched a new program called the Acadomi, designed for recent college graduates to jump-start their careers in the IT staffing industry. This program provides hands-on training, mentorship, and growth opportunities. Graduates will work full-time with seasoned recruiters and account executives to build a foundation in the IT industry, covering recruiting best practices to account management. Upon program completion, participants will join teams in Atlanta, Charlotte, DC, or Dallas.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in an informative 3-month training program with experienced Recruiters and Account Executives.
• Work closely with a Team Lead to perfect skills in sourcing, interviewing, and submitting candidates.
• Gain experience in cold calling, interacting with, and prospecting new business.
• Develop a foundation for Optomi’s recruiting and sales process to eventually move into a Technical Recruiter role.
• Use various job platforms to search for and reach out to qualified candidates.
• Conduct phone interviews to assess candidate’s technical experience.
• Format resume/submittal packages to highlight candidate’s top skills.
• Prepare candidates for phone and in-person interviews.
• Work closely with Account Executives to negotiate pay rates.
• Meet minimum weekly metrics including phone interviews/submittals to open jobs.

• 0-1 years of professional experience
• Drive and determination to succeed

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to develop strong and genuine relationships with customers and consultants
