About the Role

Flex is seeking a Technician - Engineering Change Management in Chennai to support extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to company growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating part numbers for BOM in Agile & Baan.
• Creating AVL in Agile & Baan system.
• Downloading customer documents (e.g., product specifications) and releasing them in CDC.
• Acting as a Change Analyst during NPI for new changes.
• Releasing Part Lists to production for new models and after ECO implementation.
• Efficiently managing ECOs for manufacturing sites globally.
• Using Agile (PLM) system for ECO creation, reviewing, routing, tracking, releasing, and distribution.
• Studying ECOs / Drawings and coordinating with site Process / Product Engineering teams.
• Working closely with Engineering and Materials teams to review product updates / modifications.
• Responding to Business Partners (requestors) and customers on queries relating to Engineering Change Orders.
• Ensuring adherence to targets set for all Process Metrics.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• NPI (New Product Introduction)
• ECO (Engineering Change Order management)
• BOM (Bill Of Materials) Management
• Hands-on experience in any PLM software linked to ECO process
• Knowledge of MS Office and MS Outlook
• Agile (PLM)
• Baan
• CDC

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.SC (EEE/ECE) graduate.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (MANDATORY).
• Good analytical skills.
• Coaching & mentoring skills.
• Conflict resolution.
• Preferably in EMS Industry.
