Position Overview
As a Sales Associate, you will deliver outstanding customer service and ensure smooth daily operations of the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Accurately operate cash registers and maintain records of cash and receipts.
- Ensure correct pricing, promotion, and display of products.
- Maintain the appearance of the store, inside and out.
- Assist with receiving and stocking products, checking inventory for expiration dates, and ensuring timely replenishment.
- Adhere to company policies, including sales of regulated products and uniform standards.
- Attend employee meetings and collaborate with team members.
- Prepare fast food items according to Health Department and store standards when required.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in cash handling, sales, or customer service is a plus.
- Ability to acquire and maintain a food service sanitation certification.
- Must be of legal age to sell alcohol and tobacco products.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to lift 21-50 lbs.
- Occasionally work in varying weather conditions.
- Strong skills in communication, decision-making, customer focus, and collaboration.
Compensation
- Salary: $15.00 / hour
