About the Role
The Delivery role at GSS Logistics Service is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. You will be responsible for picking up parcels from designated locations, ensuring accurate documentation, and delivering them safely to customers and businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking up parcels from designated locations.
- Ensuring accurate documentation.
- Delivering parcels safely to customers and businesses.
- Planning delivery routes.
- Handling packages with care.
- Confirming deliveries using mobile applications or delivery logs.
- Maintaining regular communication with the dispatch team.
- Providing courteous customer service at each delivery point.
- Following company safety and operational guidelines.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Valid local driving license (for two-wheeler or delivery vehicle, as applicable).
- Familiarity with Mumbai routes.
- Basic smartphone literacy for using navigation, delivery apps, and communication tools.
- Ability to lift and carry packages safely.
- Ability to manage time efficiently.
- Willingness to work extended hours when needed.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact politely and professionally with clients.
- Basic understanding of logistics management and transportation practices for urban delivery routes.
- Willingness to participate in training programs and follow standard operating procedures.
- Reliability, punctuality, and commitment to safety and hygiene standards.
- Experience in food & beverage delivery or related field is an advantage but not required.
