This internship role involves assisting in the design, development, and testing of AI models and algorithms for production-ready systems. Daily tasks may include data preprocessing, building and evaluating models for pattern recognition, neural networks, and NLP, and supporting software development for AI-driven applications. The intern will collaborate with senior developers to integrate AI components into existing platforms, document technical work, and help troubleshoot issues. The role also includes learning and applying best practices in model deployment, performance optimization, and version control within a collaborative engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of AI models and algorithms.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and coding in languages such as Python or Java.
• Skills in Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks, with an understanding of machine learning concepts and experience using relevant frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Capabilities in Natural Language Processing (NLP), including basic familiarity with text processing, language models, and common NLP libraries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with datasets, interpret results, and refine models based on feedback.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to document code, follow version control practices (e.g., Git), and work within a team-based development environment.
• Enrollment in or completion of a degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior internship or project experience in AI or ML is an added advantage.
