About the Role
The Quality Assurance Analyst is a part-time, remote role focused on ensuring the reliability and performance of WorkshopEdge’s software platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and executing manual tests.
- Validating new features and bug fixes.
- Documenting clear, reproducible test cases.
- Reviewing requirements.
- Identifying defects.
- Collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to support continuous improvement in quality and user experience.
- Tracking issues.
- Contributing to test plans.
- Providing structured feedback to help deliver stable releases on a regular basis.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in Manual Testing and writing detailed Test Cases to validate functionality and user workflows.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools and basic software development concepts is beneficial.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail for clear documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret requirements, identify edge cases, and assess test results.
- Experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control to support consistent software standards and processes.
- Prior experience testing SaaS or business management software is an advantage.
- Relevant coursework or a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
