About the Role
Northern Tool + Equipment is seeking a Full-Time Cashier to assist customers during checkout, uphold brand and execution standards, and contribute to a positive store experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting all customers as they enter the store and ensuring they enjoy the best shopping experience possible.
- Completing all transactions quickly and accurately.
- Offering the Protection Plan on all eligible products and offering the credit card on all customer transactions. (Incentive pay for selling protection plans and credit cards)
- Being a Team Player by helping put away product, execute price changes, or other tasks that may help your team better serve our customers.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Spanish Language Skills preferred
- Open Availability for scheduling requirements
- Flexible availability and willingness to work some weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to lift 70 Lbs.
Qualifications
- Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer service experience admired, but not required.
- A love of tools & equipment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Service focused mindset.
Full-time position.
Hourly pay: $13.00 - $18.90.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company match for employees working 30+ hours per week.
Stores closed on Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Reduced hours on five other federal holidays.
Paid holidays and paid time off for employees working 30+ hours per week.
Daily Pay option available.
