About the Role
This is a remote internship role for a Data Mining Intern.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various online and internal sources.
- Apply basic data mining techniques.
- Perform exploratory data analysis.
- Generate structured datasets for use by senior team members.
- Support in preparing simple reports.
- Document processes.
- Help improve data quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with data, research, and technical teams.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to interpret patterns and trends in data.
- Foundational knowledge of Statistics and Data Science concepts.
- Exposure to Data Mining and Data Analysis techniques and tools.
- Familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, or basic programming (e.g., Python, R) is beneficial.
- Currently pursuing or having recently completed studies in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Attention to detail, organized work habits, and the ability to follow data-related procedures accurately.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Interest in developing a career in data, analytics, or technology-focused roles.
