Finance Intern

About the Role

BillCut is a mission-driven financial technology company focused on transforming how India manages debt and credit. The Finance Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The intern will support the finance team in analyzing financial data, reviewing credit and loan information, and assisting with the preparation and interpretation of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data.
• Review credit and loan information.
• Assist with the preparation and interpretation of financial statements.
• Work with accounting records.
• Help track and reconcile transactions.
• Contribute to internal reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights.
• Conduct market and competitor research.
• Maintain documentation.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in spreadsheets and financial tools, such as Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to work on-site in New Delhi.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret data and financial trends.
• Foundational knowledge in Finance and familiarity with Financial Statements.
• Basic understanding of Accounting principles and comfort working with numerical information.
• Clear and professional Communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Current enrollment in or completion of a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Attention to detail in documentation.
• Interest in personal finance, fintech, and debt management.
• Prior internship or project experience in finance is an advantage.
