About the Role
The Articleship Intern role is an on-site internship based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This internship is designed to provide practical experience, professional development, and insight into the operations of a chartered accountancy firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with audit assignments.
- Assist with accounting and bookkeeping.
- Assist with tax compliance.
- Assist with the preparation of working papers under guidance.
- Perform data analysis.
- Perform documentation.
- Verify financial records.
- Support in drafting reports.
- Support in client communications.
- Learn and apply relevant accounting standards.
- Participate in internal discussions.
- Adhere to firm policies and timelines.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in using spreadsheets and accounting software.
- Comfort in working with numerical data and financial documents.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, auditing concepts, and basic taxation rules.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Proactive attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
- Enrollment in a Chartered Accountancy program or related commerce/finance studies is highly beneficial.
- Prior internship experience in audit or accounting is an advantage.
