About the Role
Rich Webs is offering a 6-month, non-paid, full-time SEO Intern position. This is a remote internship focused on providing practical exposure to search engine optimization, organic traffic growth, website performance, and content optimization. The role is designed for individuals eager to develop practical SEO skills through live websites and real-world digital marketing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research and identify relevant search opportunities.
- Assist with on-page SEO optimization for website pages, blogs, and landing pages.
- Perform basic SEO audits and identify website optimization opportunities.
- Work on meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, and URL optimization.
- Assist with off-page SEO and ethical link-building activities.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and other SEO performance metrics.
- Support content optimization based on SEO best practices.
- Research competitor websites and identify SEO improvement opportunities.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm updates and the latest SEO trends.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing.
- Knowledge of keyword research and on-page SEO fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console is an advantage.
- Understanding of link-building strategies and website optimization.
- Good analytical and research skills.
- Basic knowledge of WordPress is preferred.
- Good written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and work on live projects.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
