- Design, normalize, and manage relational database schemas (tables, keys, indexes, constraints)
- Write, optimize, and test SQL queries, joins, and stored procedures to ensure fast data retrieval
- Design and execute functional, unit, and integration test cases to validate business logic and prevent regressions
- Trace software defects, inspect application logs, and debug unexpected system failures across environments
- Document database entity-relationship (ER) diagrams, technical specifications, and API data models
- Manage code changes, feature branching, and pull requests using Git and GitHub workflows
- Share progress in a short daily check-in and attend weekly technical architecture reviews
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong foundational grasp of core Computer Science principles (Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, Algorithms)
- Hands-on familiarity with Database Management Systems (DBMS) and writing SQL queries in PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server
- Working knowledge of at least one core programming language (Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript)
- Methodical approach to testing software, isolating edge cases, and logging reproducible bugs
- Clear written English for writing code documentation, technical summaries, and test plans
- A laptop and a stable internet connection
Helpful but not required:
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, PyTest, or Selenium)
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, networking fundamentals, and operating systems (Linux commands)
- An active GitHub profile, coursework projects, or open-source contributions demonstrating core CS concepts
Who Can Apply
- Final-year students and recent graduates from B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, BCA, B.Sc (CS/IT), MCA, or related disciplines
- Freshers seeking practical, full-lifecycle exposure across programming, database management, and quality assurance
- Candidates available to commit full-time for the duration of the internship
What You Gain
- Real-world experience applying core CS fundamentals across production applications and relational databases
- Direct code reviews, query optimization guidance, and mentoring from senior software engineers
- Production-grade code modules, schema designs, and test documentation to showcase in technical interviews
- Internship completion certificate
- The freedom to work remotely from anywhere in India
