The Environmental Consultant (Executive) will work full time in a hybrid capacity, based in Pune City with flexibility for partial work from home. This role involves conducting environmental impact assessments, preparing technical and regulatory reports, and advising clients on environmental compliance and sustainability strategies. The consultant will coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, gather and analyze environmental data, and support project planning and execution from initial assessment through to implementation and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting environmental impact assessments.
• Preparing technical and regulatory reports.
• Advising clients on environmental compliance and sustainability strategies.
• Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Gathering and analyzing environmental data.
• Supporting project planning and execution from initial assessment through to implementation and monitoring.
• Drafting documentation.
• Attending client meetings.
• Supporting permit and approval processes.
• Ensuring project activities align with local and national environmental regulations and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Consulting.
• Expertise in Environmental Compliance and knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
• Solid foundation in Environmental Science and related analytical methods.
• Proficient Report Writing skills, including the ability to produce clear, accurate, and structured technical documents.
• Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, sustainability, or a related field.
• Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data, interpret findings, and present recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
• Prior experience in consulting, regulatory liaison, or environmental project management in India is an advantage.
