Content Writing Intern

About the Role

The Content Writing Intern role at HK Technical is a remote internship focused on supporting the creation and management of educational and creative content across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Research topics related to medical, pharma, technical education, and other HK Technical domains.
• Draft clear, engaging web content, blog posts, and study materials aligned with brand guidelines.
• Assist in updating and organizing content in the content management system, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and search-friendly formatting.
• Collaborate with mentors or team members to refine content strategy, incorporate feedback, and maintain a cohesive tone and style.
• Perform basic proofreading.
• Complete simple layout or formatting tasks.
• Contribute ideas to improve the learner experience on HK Technical’s digital properties.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to research and produce clear, engaging Writing and Web Content Writing tailored to educational and creative audiences.
• Familiarity with basic Content Strategy and Content Management practices, including organizing and updating digital content.
• Strong Communication skills, including the ability to collaborate, take feedback, and present ideas effectively in a remote environment.
• Good command of written English, with attention to grammar, clarity, and structure.
• Interest in Ed-Tech, medical/pharma or technical education, and a willingness to learn domain-specific concepts as needed.
• Comfort using online tools and platforms (e.g., document editors, CMS, collaboration tools).
• Ability to work independently, manage time in a remote setting, and meet deadlines for assigned content tasks.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with blogs, articles, or academic writing is beneficial.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles is a plus.
• Currently studying or recently graduated in a relevant field such as English, Communications, Journalism, Pharmacy, Nursing, or related disciplines is preferred but not mandatory.
