About the Seloriz Innovation Lab

Seloriz Solutions Private Limited is establishing the Seloriz Innovation Lab to identify new product opportunities, solve real-world problems, and transform ideas into practical product concepts, engineering solutions, and working prototypes. The Lab integrates product research, industrial design, mechanical engineering, electronics, embedded systems, software, IoT, and AI. We seek curious, motivated, and hands-on individuals for a learn-by-doing experience, fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration from problem discovery to prototyping and validation.

Internship Opportunities

Openings are available across five disciplines:

• Consumer Product Research & Innovation Intern

• Identify consumer problems and explore new product opportunities.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Research consumer needs, market trends, and competing products.

• Analyze customer reviews, product gaps, pricing, and technology options.

• Identify and evaluate new product opportunities.

• Prepare product opportunity briefs and preliminary cost estimates.

• Support consumer research, idea validation, and collaboration with design and engineering teams.

• Preferred Background: Product research, business, marketing, market research, engineering, product design, or related disciplines.

• Product Design & Industrial Design Intern

• Contribute to the conceptualization and design of innovative consumer and industrial products.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Develop product concepts through research, ideation, and sketching.

• Explore product form, ergonomics, usability, and aesthetics.

• Create 3D CAD models and support product visualization.

• Contribute to prototyping, design refinement, and design for manufacturing.

• Collaborate with mechanical, electronics, and embedded engineering teams.

• Preferred Background: Product design, industrial design, mechanical design, or related disciplines. CAD skills and a portfolio of projects are an advantage.

• Mechanical & Product Engineering Intern

• Translate product concepts into practical mechanical designs and prototypes.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D CAD models, assemblies, enclosures, and mechanisms.

• Support electronics integration, mounting arrangements, and fixtures.

• Explore materials, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturing.

• Assist with rapid prototyping, 3D printing, assembly, and testing.

• Prepare engineering drawings and documentation.

• Preferred Background: Mechanical engineering, product engineering, mechatronics, or related disciplines. CAD, mechanisms, and hands-on prototyping experience are desirable.

• Embedded Systems & Industrial IoT Engineering Intern

• Contribute to the development of electronic prototypes, embedded systems, and connected products.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Develop embedded hardware and firmware prototypes.

• Work with platforms such as ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or STM32.

• Integrate sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces.

• Explore Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy, MQTT, and other IoT technologies.

• Support hardware-software integration, debugging, testing, and validation.

• Document designs, test results, and development activities.

• Preferred Background: Electronics, ECE, EEE, instrumentation, embedded systems, or related disciplines. Experience with embedded C/C++, electronics, or IoT projects is an advantage.

• AI, Software & IoT Engineering Intern

• Develop software and intelligent capabilities for connected products and engineering applications.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Develop software applications, APIs, and connected product interfaces.

• Support device-to-cloud integration and sensor data processing.

• Explore Python-based applications, data visualization, and automation.

• Investigate AI/ML applications, anomaly detection, and edge AI.

• Assist with prototype development, integration, testing, and documentation.

• Preferred Background: Computer science, IT, AI/ML, electronics, or related disciplines. Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, APIs, databases, Git, or IoT technologies is desirable.
