About the Role
Tecta America New England is seeking Commercial Roofers in Bloomfield, CT. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial roofing systems. Pay starts at $22+/hr, with a sign-on bonus of $250-$750.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of all types of commercial roofing systems, including EPDM, TPO, & PVC.
- Work under the direction of the crew's Foreman.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Commercial roofing experience is preferred, but training will be provided for the right individuals.
- Ability to lift 25+ lbs. regularly, 50+ lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to work in an outdoor setting with varying weather conditions.
- Expected activities include bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
- Ability to follow instructions, perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines, and maintain a strong level of professionalism.
- Reliable transportation to and from jobsites/warehouse.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise, and temperature.
- Physical Effort: Extensive standing, walking, climbing ladders. Frequent lifting, etc.
- Travel: Mostly local, within 1 hour.
