About the Role
IDEMIA Public Security is hiring a remote Software Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 (U.S.-based). The team builds and runs the internal developer platform other product teams depend on, including pipelines that ship code, infrastructure services run on, and guardrails for security. This is hands-on work where interns will be given a real piece of work to ship and see used.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop skills in backend service deployment.
- Develop skills in continuous delivery practices.
- Develop skills in delivery pipelines.
- Develop skills in security and vulnerability operations.
- Work with experienced engineers for mentorship and review.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Cloud platforms
- CI/CD
- Security tooling
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (or have equivalent self-directed experience).
- Comfortable reading and writing basic code in any language.
- Curiosity, clear communication, and self-direction are valued.
- No prior experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD, or security tooling is required.

Note: This is a hybrid role; you must be able to travel to the office.
US Hourly Rate: $25
