Study Abroad Counsellor for Europe, UK & USA

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Study Abroad Counsellor role based in Noida. The counsellor will advise students on study opportunities in Europe, the UK, and the USA.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise students on study opportunities, including program selection, university options, admission requirements, and application timelines.
• Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions.
• Handle inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
• Support students with application forms, documentation, and visa-related processes in coordination with internal teams.
• Organize and participate in information sessions, seminars, and outreach activities.
• Maintain accurate student records.
• Follow up to ensure smooth progression through each stage of the study abroad journey.
• Build strong relationships with students and families.
• Provide clear and ethical guidance.
• Stay updated on changing admission and visa policies for key destinations.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Computer proficiency, including CRM tools and online platforms for managing student data and conducting virtual interactions.

Qualifications

• Strong student counselling and advisory skills, including the ability to understand individual aspirations and recommend suitable countries, programs, and universities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and administrative abilities.
• Awareness of international education systems, admission processes, and visa procedures for Europe, the UK, and the USA.
• Customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a degree in Education, Management, or related fields is an advantage.
• Prior experience in study abroad counselling, overseas education consulting, or academic advisory roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work on-site in Noida and collaborate within a team.
• Ability to maintain high professional and ethical standards.
