Entry Level Sales Professional

About the Role

This is a sales position helping to match the perfect flooring to local customers. The position requires interacting and helping customers who enter our newly renovated beautiful showroom where the objective is always to provide flooring advice that will make the customers' buying decision easier and more enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers in the showroom and determine their wants and needs
• Project manage the jobs from the time the customer enters the showroom until installation and beyond.
• Build client relationships
• Execute targeted sales strategies
• Write sales orders, receive payment, or obtain credit authorization using our software system.
• Follow up in a timely and professional manner with all customers on requests and/or concerns
• Maintain showroom by keeping samples and displays neat, current, and clean

Requirements

• Willing to undergo product and sales training in order to become certified flooring and design expert.
• Well-organized.
• Able to provide outstanding customer service.
• Able to work efficiently with teammates in all departments and locations
• A passion for people
• Must have access to reliable transportation in order to get to work, and to visit customers' home (as necessary)
• Open and flexible work availability during our showroom hours
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office programs and a willingness to learn our operating systems
• Retail sales experience or customer service experience strong preferred
