Junior UXUI Designer

About the Role

iBytes Bits and Bots Private Limited is an algorithm development company focused on delivering innovative solutions for the oil and gas industry. The Junior UXUI Designer role is a full-time, on-site position supporting the design of user interfaces for web and desktop applications within this domain. The work environment supports learning, experimentation, and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Create wireframes, visual designs, and interactive prototypes.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate complex workflows into intuitive user experiences.
• Conduct basic user research and organize feedback.
• Refine designs based on stakeholder input.
• Ensure consistency in layout, typography, and visual elements.
• Assist in maintaining design systems.
• Prepare assets for development handoff.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency with common design and prototyping tools, such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in UX and UI design principles, including wireframing, prototyping, and information architecture.
• Ability to conduct and synthesize basic user research, usability feedback, and user testing outcomes.
• Attention to detail in visual design, layout, typography, and interaction design.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant educational background in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Interest in learning about industrial domains such as oil and gas and in designing for complex data-driven applications.
• Capability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and adapt to evolving project requirements.
