About the Role
AMISON Engineering is seeking a Trainee Design Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area. This role involves supporting the engineering team in developing and refining product designs for various manufacturing processes, under the guidance of senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and update CAD models and drawings.
- Assist with design calculations.
- Prepare documentation.
- Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams to align designs with project requirements and production capabilities.
- Help review design feasibility.
- Learn to interpret FEA/CFD results.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design standards and workflows.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Design Engineering and Product Design.
- Skills in Mechanical Engineering.
- Skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for creating 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings.
- Basic skills or exposure to Electrical Engineering for interdisciplinary projects.
- Familiarity with FEA/CFD tools is beneficial.
- Knowledge of conventional and additive manufacturing is beneficial.
- Understanding of GD&T is beneficial.
Qualifications
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to learn quickly in a hands-on engineering environment.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
