About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site Information Technology Specialist role located in Hyderabad, India.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and network devices.
- Monitor network performance.
- Implement security measures.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Install and update systems.
- Provide user support and training.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers.
- Document IT processes and configurations.
- Work closely with operations and management teams to align IT services with business needs.
- Support continuous improvement in a fast-paced mining environment.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Information Technology and Troubleshooting for managing systems, diagnosing issues, and ensuring reliable IT operations.
- Skills in Network Administration and Network Security to configure, monitor, and secure LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and related infrastructure.
- Strong Customer Service skills to support end-users, resolve technical queries, and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with hardware installation.
- Experience with standard business applications.
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or similar) are an advantage.
- Experience in industrial or mining environments is an advantage.
