Financial Analyst Internship

About the Role

The Financial Analyst Intern will work full time on-site at the Bengaluru office, supporting the investment and analytics teams with data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Collecting and analyzing financial and market data.
• Building and maintaining financial models.
• Assisting in the review of portfolio performance.
• Preparing reports and presentations on financial metrics, risk analysis, and investment opportunities for internal stakeholders.
• Supporting the evaluation of credit and alternative strategies.
• Contributing to research on quantitative approaches.
• Collaborating with team members on process improvement and documentation.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in Excel and other spreadsheet or data tools.
• Familiarity with statistical or programming tools (e.g., Python, R) is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Strong Finance and Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
• Skills in Financial Planning and Financial Reporting for supporting investment and performance analysis.
• Knowledge of Financial Statements and basic accounting concepts to evaluate company and portfolio health.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly in written and verbal form.
• Interest in quantitative finance, asset management, and alternative investment strategies.
• Prior internship or project experience is a plus.
