Producer Intern, Chunking

About the Role

ITV Digital, part of ITV Network, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Producer Intern - Chunking to join their digital media team.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and edit short video clips (chunks) from long-form news/content videos for YouTube.
• Identify important, engaging, and relevant portions of videos for clipping.
• Ensure chunks have a clear flow, context, and are suitable for digital audiences.
• Add basic elements such as titles, captions, or text overlays wherever required.
• Coordinate with the Producer/Editorial team to understand content requirements and deadlines.
• Ensure all edited clips are accurate, properly formatted, and ready for publishing on digital platforms.
• Conduct research, uploading, scripting, and live uploading.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• 3–8 months of experience in video chunking, content editing, digital media, or a similar role.
• Basic understanding of YouTube and digital video content.
• Ability to identify newsworthy and engaging moments from longer videos.
• Basic video editing skills; familiarity with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
• Good understanding of video flow, timing, and storytelling.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a night shift.
• Must be comfortable working from the office.

Qualifications

• Freshers with relevant knowledge/experience in video editing or digital content may also apply.
