About the Role
- This is a Full-Time, 14-week Hybrid Summer Internship.
- Occurs during one of the following time frames:
- May 3 - August 13, 2027
- May 10 - August 20, 2027
- Candidates can reside anywhere near three primary regions:
- West (Grand Rapids)
- East (Southfield)
- South (St. Joseph)
Job Summary
Performs support tasks for the department, as directed, and maintains clear and appropriate documentation. Acts as a team member and assists the team in improving processes.
Essential Functions
- Monitoring and reviewing security alerts.
- Researching emerging cyber threats, assisting with incident investigations.
- Documenting procedures and findings, analyzing trends and reports.
- Helping test security processes.
- Participating in team meetings and training sessions.
- Creating dashboards and metrics.
- Supporting automation and process improvement efforts.
- Collaborating with teams across the organization on security-related initiatives.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Currently enrolled in a university pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in an area of accountability.
- May also be a recent graduate from an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program.
