Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Frontend Developer who is enthusiastic about building intuitive and responsive user interfaces. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career developers to grow their frontend development skills in a supportive environment. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and senior engineers to develop beautiful, accessible, and user-friendly web applications primarily using React. Your work will directly impact learners engaging with our platform daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop reusable, maintainable, and efficient frontend components using React
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Ensure applications are responsive, accessible, and performant across devices and browsers
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow
• Write clean, well-documented code and adhere to coding standards
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of frontend quality
• Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and UI issues
• Work within Agile teams to deliver features iteratively and respond to user feedback
• Learn and adopt best practices in frontend development, testing, and deployment
• Actively seek mentorship and feedback to grow technical and professional skills

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript, including ES6+ features
• Practical experience or coursework in React — understanding of components, state, props, and hooks
• Familiarity with HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design techniques
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and ability to consume them on the frontend
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced startup environment
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Passion for building engaging user experiences and creating impact

Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)

• Exposure to TypeScript or strong interest in learning it
• Basic knowledge of frontend testing tools (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library)
• Experience with Next.js or server-side rendering frameworks
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative version control workflows
• Personal or academic projects demonstrating your frontend skills
• Previous internship or freelance experience in web development
