About The Role
- Communications Intern role assisting Keeper’s Global Communications team.
- This is a fall/winter internship with a fixed 6-month duration.
- This is a paid internship designed to offer professional experience.
- 100% remote internship from select locations, with an opportunity for a hybrid schedule for candidates in the Chicago, IL metro area.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Communications and Social Media teams with daily tasks and projects.
- Update and maintain the company’s media page.
- Content creation for social media.
- Announcement planning and execution.
- Writing for PR and internal communications.
- Exhibit a high level of professionalism and creative thinking.
- Show a strong desire to learn and a drive to succeed in assigned tasks.
- Assist in administrative duties, including reporting performance data, scheduling social media content, and updating the media page on the website.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Must have a strong desire to learn and professional drive to succeed.
- Interest in learning about Keeper’s products, cybersecurity, and industry trends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Personable and dependable.
- Familiarity with drafting internal and/or external communications content, including employee memos, press releases, and media advisories.
- Experience copywriting and creating engaging social media content.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Basic working knowledge of Google and Microsoft Office Products.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a related BS or master’s degree is preferred.
