About the Role

The MERN Stack Intern at TalesByDora will work full-time on-site in Ghaziabad, collaborating with the development team to build and maintain web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing front-end components.
• Implement APIs.
• Integrate databases.
• Fix bugs.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Support the enhancement of existing platforms.
• Contribute to new features that improve user experience.
• Document technical processes.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate travel-focused business requirements into functional, user-friendly solutions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Foundational MERN stack skills, including MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
• Core web development skills, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
• Basic software engineering skills, including version control (Git), debugging, and code documentation.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Collaboration and communication skills for on-site work.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and deployment on cloud or hosting platforms is beneficial.
• Interest in travel and digital products that enhance traveler experiences is an added advantage.
