Full Stack Python Developer (Django & DRF)

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Full Stack Python Developer with strong hands-on experience in Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF) to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have practical experience developing Python/Django projects, building REST APIs, working with databases, and integrating frontend interfaces with backend services. We value candidates who can write clean code, solve problems independently, and demonstrate their technical skills through real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Python and Django.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF).
• Design and implement backend business logic, reusable components, and application features.
• Develop and maintain database models using Django ORM and write efficient SQL queries.
• Integrate frontend interfaces with backend APIs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Implement authentication, authorization, validation, and error handling.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
• Use Git/GitHub for version control and collaborate with team members.
• Test APIs using Postman and follow coding standards and best practices.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong hands-on knowledge of Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Practical experience with Django and Django REST Framework (DRF).
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs.
• Good understanding of Django models, views, serializers, and ORM.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and database relationships.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and Postman.
• Ability to develop, debug, and maintain end-to-end web applications.
• Good to Have: Django, FastAPI, React.js, Docker, AWS, Redis, Celery, and automated testing with PyTest.

Qualifications

• Candidates with 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience in Python/Django development.
• Strong practical experience working on Python/Django projects.
• Ability to explain project architecture, individual contributions, and technical challenges.
• Candidates who can write code, debug issues, and implement features independently.
• Freshers with exceptional hands-on project experience, internships, or strong personal projects may also be considered.
• Developers who have built real applications, not just theoretical knowledge.
• Comfortable working across the backend, APIs, databases, and frontend integration.
