Recruitment Consultant Intern

About the Role

• This is an internship opportunity for individuals keen to build a career in talent acquisition within the Banking & Financial Services (BFSI) sector.
• You will work closely with an experienced recruitment team, gaining hands-on exposure to the full recruitment lifecycle.
• No prior recruitment experience is required.
• Position: Recruitment Consultant Intern – BFSI Desk
• Employment Type: Internship
• Duration: 3 - 6 Months
• Working Days: 5 Days a Week (Monday to Friday)
• Conversion Opportunity: Full-Time role upon successful completion, based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end recruitment process for BFSI roles, from sourcing candidates to coordinating onboarding activities.
• Source potential candidates through job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Monster, Indeed, etc.), referrals, and other creative channels.
• Conduct initial screening calls to evaluate candidates’ background, skills, and interest in available roles.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews between shortlisted candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain and update candidate databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Build and nurture a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for ongoing and future BFSI hiring requirements.
• Assist in drafting and posting job descriptions.
• Collaborate with senior recruiters to understand specific role requirements and client expectations.
• Research and stay updated on BFSI industry trends, emerging roles, and market salary benchmarks.
• Assist in preparing recruitment reports, trackers, and MIS.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• A genuine interest in recruitment and the Banking & Financial Services Industry (BFSI).
• Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn and a proactive, self-driven attitude.
• Basic proficiency with computers, email, and internet-based tools.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn or any job portals is a plus, but not mandatory.
