Junior Copywriter

About the Role

The Junior Copywriter role is a full-time, remote position responsible for crafting clear, engaging, and culturally aware copy for Superfan.ng’s app, website, social media, email campaigns, and marketing materials. The Junior Copywriter will help develop content that explains product features, supports user engagement, and strengthens brand voice.

Key Responsibilities

• Writing short-form and long-form content.
• Editing and proofreading copy.
• Collaborating with designers and marketers to ensure consistent messaging.
• Assisting with press releases.
• Assisting with promotional campaigns.
• Assisting with content tailored to both African and diaspora audiences.

Qualifications

• Strong Writing and Proofreading skills.
• Effective Communication skills.
• Marketing and Press Releases skills.
• Solid grasp of African cultures or a strong interest in learning about African languages, traditions, and folklore.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow brand guidelines.
• Openness to feedback and iteration.
• Comfortable working remotely, managing time effectively, and meeting deadlines.
• A background in copywriting, communications, journalism, marketing, or related fields is beneficial.
• Previous experience in edtech or cultural content is a plus.
