Associate (Java) Software Engineer

About the Role

Saatvik Agro is seeking an Associate (Java) Software Engineer for a full-time, on-site position in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India. This role is designed for fresh graduates and early-career technology professionals interested in Java software development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Java-based applications, backend services, APIs, databases, internal platforms, enterprise systems, automation solutions, and digital tools.
• Collaborate with software, IT, data, analytics, operations, production, supply chain, finance, sales, and other business teams.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Core Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, collections, exception handling, interfaces, inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction, multithreading, concurrency, and clean coding practices.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, or similar Java frameworks is beneficial.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, web services, authentication, authorization, API integration, and system integration.
• Familiarity with SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, or similar relational and NoSQL databases is beneficial.
• Understanding of database design, normalization, joins, indexing, transactions, schemas, CRUD operations, queries, and basic query optimization is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Maven, Gradle, Git, GitHub, version control, branching, pull requests, debugging, code reviews, and collaborative software-development workflows.
• Basic understanding of Linux, command-line tools, application deployment, environment configuration, logging, monitoring, and production-support concepts is advantageous.
• Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, role-based access control, secure coding, input validation, API security, authentication, authorization, and encryption concepts is beneficial.
• Familiarity with ORM technologies, repositories, persistence layers, entity relationships, transactions, and backend data-access patterns is beneficial.
• Willingness to work in an on-site environment.
• Strong willingness to learn new Java technologies, frameworks, databases, APIs, cloud platforms, testing tools, and modern software-engineering practices.

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Final-year students completing their degree and available for full-time employment.
• Candidates with 0–2 years of experience in Java development, software engineering, backend development, application development, API development, enterprise software, or related technology roles.
• Candidates currently working in related roles are encouraged to apply.

• Good analytical, logical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, documentation, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
