Role Overview

We are seeking motivated and career-oriented CA students to join as Article Assistants. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse professional assignments under experienced guidance, gaining practical exposure in audit, taxation, accounting, and compliance. Develop technical knowledge, analytical skills, and professional competence through real-time assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit & Assurance

• Assist in Statutory Audits under the Companies Act.

• Participate in Concurrent Audits and Statutory Branch Audits of banks.

• Assist in Internal Audits, Management Audits, and Operational Audits.

• Participate in C&AG Audits and other special-purpose audits.

• Conduct Stock Audits, Asset Verification, and Damage Audits.

• Prepare audit working papers, documentation, and reports.

• Perform vouching, verification, reconciliation, and analytical procedures.

• Direct & Indirect Taxation

• Assist in preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns.

• Participate in Tax Audits and preparation of Form 3CA/3CB and 3CD.

• Handle GST returns, reconciliations, and compliance assignments.

• Assist in TDS compliance and related statutory filings.

• Assist in tax planning, assessments, and representation-related assignments.

• Accounting & Financial Services

• Assist in bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements.

• Perform bank, ledger, and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Assist in financial reporting and management information systems.

• Participate in financial analysis and other consultancy assignments.

• Client & Professional Coordination

• Interact with clients and collect information for assignments.

• Participate in client visits and field audit assignments.

• Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of assignments.

• Maintain professional documentation and adhere to timelines.

Learning & Professional Exposure

Gain exposure to:

• Banking audits and financial institution assignments.
• Statutory, internal, and operational audits.
• Stock audits for banks and corporate clients.
• C&AG and special-purpose audits.
• Income Tax and GST compliance.
• Financial reporting, accounting, and business advisory.
• Working with clients across multiple industries.
• Current engagements include assignments for Kerala Bank, Indian Bank, Kerala State Financial Enterprises (KSFE), and stock/audit assignments for reputed corporate clients.

Eligibility & Skills

• Candidates who have cleared the applicable CA Intermediate requirements and are eligible for practical training under ICAI regulations.
• Strong interest in auditing, taxation, and accounting.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel for professional assignments.
• Positive attitude, dedication, and eagerness to learn.
