About the Role
The Civil Engineering Intern role at NESTOOD™ | A Dot Product is an on-site internship based in Hubli-Dharwad.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing civil engineering designs and drawings.
- Support site engineers in project planning.
- Contribute to the supervision of construction activities under guidance.
- Collect and organize project data.
- Help with quantity estimations.
- Participate in quality checks.
- Learn to apply engineering standards and safety practices on site.
- Collaborate with project teams.
- Communicate basic technical information.
- Support documentation and reporting for ongoing construction and interior projects.
Qualifications
- Civil Engineering fundamentals, including Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design skills.
- Basic knowledge of Water Resource Management and related infrastructure concepts.
- Entry-level Project Management abilities, such as task tracking and coordination support.
- Strong Communication skills for working with engineers, supervisors, and clients.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Ability to read drawings, understand building materials, and follow safety and quality procedures.
- Proficiency with basic CAD tools and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is beneficial.
- Willingness to work on-site, learn quickly, and adapt to a technology-driven construction environment.
