About The Role

SynergisticIT is seeking a motivated Software Developer to contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. This opportunity is suitable for candidates who have a foundation in programming and are interested in growing their technical skills through hands-on project work.

The successful candidate will work with technical teams to understand requirements, develop reliable solutions, and improve existing applications. Depending on project needs, work may involve web development, backend services, databases, cloud technologies, or data-driven applications. Candidates should be comfortable learning new tools and adapting to changing technical requirements. The role may include collaboration with clients or project teams, and responsibilities will vary according to the assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain software features according to project requirements and technical specifications.
• Work with team members to clarify business needs, break down tasks, and identify practical implementation approaches.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while following established development standards.
• Create and execute unit tests, assist with integration testing, and investigate defects to help ensure reliable application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve code quality, security, and maintainability.
• Support the integration of applications with databases, APIs, and other systems as required.
• Help troubleshoot production or testing issues by gathering information, identifying possible causes, and documenting resolutions.
• Maintain project documentation and communicate progress, risks, and blockers to relevant team members.
• Stay informed about programming practices and tools, and apply new knowledge to assigned work.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Familiarity with one or more languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or a comparable programming language is preferred.
• Understanding of basic software development practices, including writing readable code, testing functionality, debugging issues, and using version control tools such as Git.
• Exposure to databases and SQL, web technologies, APIs, or cloud platforms is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• A solid understanding of programming fundamentals, object-oriented concepts, data structures, and problem-solving methods.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills are important.
• Willingness to receive feedback, work through technical challenges, and continue developing expertise.
