About the Role

The Health Insurance Advisor role at Aditya Birla Health Insurance Company Limited is an on-site position based in the Greater Chennai Area. The advisor will guide customers through health insurance products, explain coverage options and benefits, and help individuals and families select plans aligned with their health and financial needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries.
• Conduct plan comparisons.
• Support policy issuance.
• Assist with policy renewals and endorsements.
• Promote wellness and chronic care solutions.
• Educate customers about ABHICL’s health and wellness offerings.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth customer service.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Comply with regulatory and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on product features and industry practices.

• Communication skills (clear verbal and written interaction with diverse customers).
• Customer Service skills (handle queries, resolve issues, and maintain a positive, respectful customer experience).
• Training and Health Promotion skills (educate customers on plan benefits, wellness programs, and preventive health practices).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, healthcare, or a related field is beneficial.
• Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or healthcare advisory is an advantage.
• Familiarity with local health insurance regulations, digital tools, and CRM systems is preferred.
