IND-Associate Space Planner

About the Role

• This position is based at our on-site office in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute macro-space design, planning, and execution projects for respective business areas/division.
• Execute new initiatives pertaining to this process/role.
• Train and onboard extended team members on the processes.
• Simplify/optimize the process.
• Create store-specific visual space plans illustrating layout and flow of merchandising categories/assortment by leveraging data, business context, and presentation architecture.
• Develop and maintain collaboration for seamless exchange of knowledge and context.
• Create, validate, store, and share category/business context via category insights sessions (Knowledge Management).
• Leverage Project Management practices to contribute to delivering projects within prescribed timelines with expected quality.
• Work in a team environment with a focus on achieving team goals.

Requirements & Tech Stack

Primary Skills (must have)

• Understanding of Retail Industry (local or global).
• Strong communication skills – ability to comprehend, articulate, and seamlessly communicate locally and globally.
• Technical skills – Basic to Intermediate Excel.
• Problem Solving – ability to leverage data, information, and visuals to solve business and execution challenges.
• Average understanding of Project Management practices.

Secondary Skills (desired)

• Power BI
• VBA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree / MBA / Retail Operations Management.
• 0 to 2 years of Retail or relevant experience.
