Key Responsibilities
- Handle escalations and advanced troubleshooting that goes beyond routine issues.
- Take ownership of critical incidents and lead their resolution.
- Contribute to network design and improvement discussions.
- Mentor and upskill junior team members.
- Ensure systems are compliant with the latest security standards and best practices.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Cisco Meraki
- FortiGate or Checkpoint or Cisco firewall
- Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure)
- Cisco Nexus series switches
- SD-WAN technologies
- Advanced routing and policy configurations
- Load balancers like NetScaler
- Traffic steering and SSL offloading
- BGP and OSPF routing protocols
- Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control and security policy enforcement
- Network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark)
- Firewall management systems (e.g., Forti Manager, Cisco FMC, ASDM)
- SD-WAN controllers
Qualifications
Certifications (Preferred):
- CCNP
- Fortinet NSE 5 or above or equivalent
- NetScaler certifications are an added advantage.
