About the Role
As an Environmental Intern for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in the Indianapolis, IN office, you will work closely with environmental professionals to gain experience in all aspects of environmental consulting. Service areas include environmental investigations and remediation, environmental compliance, hydrogeology, and environmental due diligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform field sampling and observations.
- Conduct office data management and evaluation.
- Assist with report preparation support.
- Acquire practical experience applying knowledge from college courses.
- Learn from industry experts.
- Collaborate with teams across functional groups and locations.
- Collaborate closely with a mentor in your discipline to tackle real-world challenges.
- Participate in workshops to foster interpersonal skills and prepare for full-time careers.
- Work collaboratively with other practices including Cultural Resources, Ecological, and Civil Engineering groups.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate Geology, Environmental Science, or Environmental Engineering program.
- Prior internship and/or design experience a plus.
- Local candidates preferred.
