About the Role
AMD is seeking an adaptive, self-motivated design verification engineer to join our growing team. You will be a key contributor to a leading team, driving and improving AMD's abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading technologies to market. The Verification Engineering team encourages continuous technical innovation and facilitates continuous career development.
Role Overview
You have a passion for modern, complex processor architecture, digital design, and verification. You are a team player with excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with engineers in different sites/time zones. You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and tackle new problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop/Maintain tests for functional verification and performance verification at the core level
- Build testbench components to support the next generation IP
- Maintain or improve current test libraries to support IP level testing
- Create hardware emulation builds to verify IP functional performance
- Maintain and improve current hardware emulation environments to speed up runtime performance and improve debug facility
- Provide technical support to other teams
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Familiarity with SystemVerilog and modern verification libraries like UVM
- Good at C/C++
- Experience with hardware emulation
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering
- Experience/Background on Computing/Graphics is a benefit
- Experience with OpenGL/OpenCL/D3D programming is a benefit
