About the Role
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Fashion Design Intern to join us. This is a hands-on role perfect for a student or recent graduate eager to learn the inner workings of a fashion brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Concept & Research: Assist in creating mood boards, researching seasonal trends, and color forecasting.
- Sketching & Tech Packs: Create flat sketches and detailed technical sheets (Tech Packs) for production.
- Sampling & Sourcing: Accompany designers to local markets to source fabrics, trims, and embroidery materials.
- Production Coordination: Assist with fitting sessions, alter patterns, and coordinate with tailors/masters.
- Studio Support: Maintain inventory, organize the design archive, and assist with photoshoot styling.
Qualifications & Skills
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Fashion Design.
- Strong freehand sketching skills and a solid understanding of garment construction.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel.
- Basic knowledge of fabrics, draping, and pattern-making.
- Eager to learn, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced studio environment.
