About the Role
The Account Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tirur. This role supports the accounts and finance team with daily tasks. The position offers structured mentorship and exposure to practical accounting, finance, and compliance work in a consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Record transactions.
- Update ledgers.
- Assist with reconciliations.
- Prepare basic financial reports.
- Help with documentation for tax and audit assignments.
- Organize client records.
- Maintain accurate data in accounting systems.
- Handle routine queries under guidance.
- Support account management activities.
- Assist in responding to client requests in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to work with numbers, interpret financial data, and follow structured procedures.
- Clear and professional communication skills (verbal and written) to interact with team members and clients.
- Foundational finance knowledge, such as basic accounting principles, financial statements, and familiarity with tax concepts.
- Customer service and account management skills to support client relationships, handle queries courteously, and ensure timely follow-up.
- A degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior internship or project experience in accounts or finance is an advantage.
