This is a ground-floor opportunity as a first dedicated marketing hire within a fast-growing startup.

The Role

This is a hands-on marketing internship for an individual who is hungry, driven, and excited to build. You will be instrumental in creating the marketing function from the ground up. Initially, you will execute directions from the VP of Sales and Director of Business Operations, with opportunities to influence marketing strategy as you prove yourself. The approach is sales-first, focusing on driving pipeline and revenue. You will receive mentorship and exposure by working directly with the VP of Sales and Director of Business Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create content for our blog, website, and LinkedIn.
  • Support product marketing efforts.
  • Assist in running marketing to current and prospective customers through our CRM and database (HubSpot).
  • Create white papers and sales collateral (sales decks, one-pagers, etc.).
  • Support the sales team with enablement materials.
  • Help manage our social media presence.
  • Create simple, clean design assets using tools like Canva or Figma.
  • Conduct competitive and market research on the cybersecurity landscape.

  • Planning and organizing events.
  • LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, and SEO.
  • Building, maintaining, and updating the website.
  • Supporting PR initiatives.
  • Email and newsletter campaign ownership.

  • A sales-first mindset — understanding marketing's role in driving revenue.
  • Background or strong interest in IT/cybersecurity and/or AI is preferred.
  • Comfort with AI tools and a willingness to use them to work faster and smarter.

The Details

  • $18/hour
  • Part-time, 10–20 hours/week to start, with opportunity for more hours based on performance.
  • 100% remote — work from anywhere in the US.
  • Clear path to grow into a full-time role.
