About the Role
GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a part-time Surveillance Security Officer for overnight shifts. This role involves monitoring security systems and identifying potential threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
- Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
- Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
- Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities.
- Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
- Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies.
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- New York State Guard Card
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong observation skills with attention to detail
- Sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills
- Strong report writing skills
- Proficiency with technology
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass an extensive screening process.
Experience in Security, Military, or Law Enforcement is a plus.
Site Location & Schedule
- Site Location: Syracuse, New York
- Set schedule: Overnights Friday & Saturday, 9pm - 5am
Uniform provided at no cost.
Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
