About the Role
GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Surveillance Security Officer. This role requires a sharp eye and attention to detail to monitor screens and identify threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
- Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
- Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
- Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
- Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
- Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Requirements & Tech Stack
- New York Security License Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong report writing skills
- Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
- Strong proficiency with technology
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass an extensive screening process
Experience in Security, Military, or Law Enforcement is a plus.
Additional Details
- Hiring Bonus: $300 available ($150 after 30 days, $150 after 90 days, upon meeting criteria)
- Hourly Wage: $19.73 / hour
- DailyPay available
- Site Location: Syracuse, NY
- Schedule: Full Time, Evenings or Overnights, Weekends Required
- Shift 1: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Shift 2: 10:00pm - 6:00am
