About the Role

The Junior Data Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The company is a growing organization seeking to strengthen its data capabilities to support informed decision-making and business performance. The role involves collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various internal and external sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize data from various internal and external sources.
• Assist in creating reports and dashboards.
• Perform basic statistical analysis.
• Help identify trends and patterns that support business decisions.
• Work with spreadsheets and databases.
• Document data processes.
• Collaborate with senior analysts and business stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Prepare visualizations and summaries that communicate insights in a clear, accessible way.
• Follow data governance and confidentiality standards.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency with spreadsheet tools (such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets).
• Familiarity with reporting or visualization tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Basic knowledge of databases and query languages (such as SQL).
• Understanding of data structures and data quality concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Foundational analytical skills, including comfort working with data sets, identifying patterns, and interpreting basic statistical results.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or related field (such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Analytics) or equivalent practical experience.
• Interest in learning advanced analytics techniques, programming languages (such as Python or R), and modern data tools.
• Prior internships or academic projects in data analysis are an advantage.
