Software Engineer Internship

This is a Software Engineer Internship opportunity at Digital Back Office.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications.
• Apply AI tools and technologies to improve development workflows and solve technical problems.
• Explore and implement AI-powered solutions for real-world use cases.
• Write clean, efficient, readable, and maintainable code.
• Analyze technical problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
• Debug code, troubleshoot errors, and improve application performance.
• Work with APIs, databases, and third-party services as required.
• Research new technologies, frameworks, and AI tools relevant to ongoing projects.
• Collaborate with team members, communicate progress, and contribute to technical discussions.
• Test applications, identify issues, and implement improvements based on feedback.
• Learn new technologies quickly and take ownership of assigned tasks.

Eligibility Criteria

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of programming fundamentals and at least one programming language, preferably Python or JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of AI concepts, with an interest in AI/ML, generative AI, or AI-powered application development.
• Strong problem-solving, logical thinking, and reasoning skills.
• Ability to analyze problems independently and approach them with a structured mindset.
• Familiarity with AI tools and the ability to use them effectively for coding, debugging, research, and problem-solving.
• Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, APIs, and databases is an advantage.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts, discuss ideas, and communicate challenges clearly.
• Willingness to learn, take feedback, adapt to new technologies, and work independently in a remote environment.
• Prior experience through personal projects, internships, hackathons, or AI-related projects is an added advantage.
