About the Internship

Future Interns is inviting applications for its Cybersecurity Internship for November 2026. This opportunity is suitable for students and recent graduates who have an interest in information security, network security, vulnerability assessment, and defensive security practices. Interns will assist with assigned security-related activities, research, and technical documentation under appropriate project guidelines. All testing must be performed exclusively on authorized systems and environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with basic vulnerability assessment activities.
• Review assigned systems and configurations for potential security concerns.
• Support authorized security testing activities.
• Explore tools such as Nmap, Wireshark, and Burp Suite where relevant.
• Research common vulnerabilities and security practices.
• Organize findings and prepare technical documentation.
• Assist with basic security reviews and communicate observations.

Skills We Are Looking For

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Familiarity with computer networking concepts.
• Interest in information security and ethical security practices.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Basic Linux knowledge is helpful.
• Familiarity with Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite, or OWASP concepts is an advantage.
