Product Manager, II
Microsoft
About the Role
Product Manager II focused on helping millions of people discover the value of Copilot, particularly on mobile devices. This role involves owning experiments on a globally used product, learning fast, and seeing work impact customers quickly.
Why this role, why now
- Copilot has unified into a single app across web, desktop, and mobile, integrating chat, agents, and creation.
- Monetization is moving in-product, where value is realized.
- Early mobile signals are strong, with in-app purchase live on iOS and Android.
- This is a key moment to invent patterns for monetizing AI.
How we work
- Small, empowered mission teams with clear ownership.
- Bets start with written hypotheses, are rigorously measured, and decisions are evidence-based.
- AI-native by default: utilizing AI agents and tools for research, prototyping, analysis, and shipping.
- Ship fast, learn faster, scale what works.
- India shapes global strategy.
You will thrive here if…
- You prefer owning outcomes, good or bad.
- You excel at turning data and customer insights into testable ideas.
- You form a view, test it quickly, and update it based on data.
- You thrive with high ownership and seek help early.
- You already use AI to work faster and explore its capabilities.
- Shipping often is energizing.
This role may not be for you if…
- You require a fully specified plan each quarter.
- You prefer long studies over running tests and learning.
- You measure success by features launched rather than customer value.
Why join us
- Shape how AI is experienced and valued globally, at scale.
- Learn alongside a fast-moving, AI-native team.
- Own outcomes from day one and grow quickly.

What you will own

- The path to paid: experiences that guide users and organizations to paid plans.
- An experiment portfolio: writing hypotheses, designing tests, specifying telemetry, shipping with engineering and design, reading out results, and making decisions.
- A metric that is yours: e.g., engagement with upgrade experiences or paid conversion, with a clear story of what influenced it.
Your first 30 / 60 / 90 days
- First 30 days: Deeply learn the product, customers, and data.
- By 60 days: Ship your first hypothesis-led experiment from a clear spec.
