About the Role

Utility Cleaners play an important role in supporting vital hotel functions across various departments, including kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry. Their work is essential for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Support cleaning needs across departments.
• Prepare fresh clean linen and spotless dining ware.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools (e.g., dish washing machines, hand wash stations, linen washers and dryers).
• Transport dishware or linens across the hotel.
• Uphold quality standards.
• Ensure uniform, personal appearance, and communications are professional.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other employees and departments.
• Support the team to reach common goals.
• Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications

• Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Related Work Experience: No related work experience required.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
• License or Certification: None required.
